“The idea of being able to sell a customer a project on a Monday and install it the same week is a dream. We’ve never been anywhere close to that.”
But the devil’s in the details: we need local officials to make it easier, not harder, to get systems running.
This new law comes at a crucial moment. The solar industry is seeing a boom from customers seeking more resiliency as the statewide electric grid struggles to keep up with increasing demand and trying to get it done before expiration of a tax credit at the end of the year.
